How to resubmit after Fort Worth plan check corrections
- Revisions can be submitted only after every department has reviewed and the permit is in Awaiting Client Reply status.
- Download the comments report from the permit record; it lists each department's comments (conditions, or holds) and the plans examiner to contact.
- Resubmit all drawings combined into one PDF through Accela Citizen Access, using the Resubmit link in the Attachments section, not by email to the plans examiners.
- A partial submittal of individual sheets is not accepted; resubmit a complete set in the same format and scale as the original.
- Cloud and delta all revisions, with a response letter from the professional that addresses every hold.

What a good response to comments report has
General guidance, not the City of Fort Worth’s own rules. Check its page before you resubmit.
- Answer every comment, in the reviewer’s order and numbering, so nothing is missed.
- Say plainly what you changed for each comment, or why no change is needed.
- Name the sheet and detail where each change is, so the reviewer can find it fast.
- Mark changes on the drawings (clouds or deltas are common) and keep sheet numbers the same.
- Send the response letter, the revised drawings and any new calculations together.
