How to resubmit after Gwinnett County plan check corrections
- When review is done the County emails you that your plans are ready, with a link to the permit; if the link fails, log in and search for the permit under Building or Development.
- All review, resubmittal and comment actions happen on the permit number emailed to you, not on the original plan submittal application.
- Open the returned plan from the permit's document list; the blue tags, normally on the required cover sheet, open the checklist comments.
- After revising, use the 'Resubmit' link above the plan's 'Actions' drop-down, add the revised plan with a short description and save; a green banner and a confirmation email confirm the resubmittal.
- Name each later submittal CaseNumber_CurrentDate_v# (for example SDP2015-00045_04182015_v2), using the case number assigned when comments were returned.

What a good response to checklist comments has
General guidance, not Gwinnett County’s own rules. Check its page before you resubmit.
- Answer every comment, in the reviewer’s order and numbering, so nothing is missed.
- Say plainly what you changed for each comment, or why no change is needed.
- Name the sheet and detail where each change is, so the reviewer can find it fast.
- Mark changes on the drawings (clouds or deltas are common) and keep sheet numbers the same.
- Send the response letter, the revised drawings and any new calculations together.
