How to respond to Jacksonville plan check corrections

What the City of Jacksonville calls its correction letter, how to resubmit, and what to include, from the city’s own pages. Each fact links to its source.

How to resubmit

  1. If a reviewer needs more information or documents before the permit is issued, JaxEPICS puts the permit in Return for Corrections; in that status you can edit certain fields and upload documents.
  2. Upload the documents as PDFs into the proper folders (architectural plans in the Architectural folder, structural in Structural, site plans in Site Plans) and click Submit For Review.
  3. For an issued permit, click Revise to move it to Active (Return for Corrections), upload the revised documents and click Submit For Review; it shows Active (In Review) until the revision is approved.
  4. Digitally signed and sealed plans can't be password protected.
